My Process

Inquiry Form & Phone Call

• Please fill out the Stone Hill Paperie inquiry form here. Once you have filled this out, I will contact you to schedule a quick phone call. During our phone call, we will go over your wedding stationery needs and make sure that we are a good fit for you.

 

​Consultation 

    * If you would prefer, we can meet via Zoom.

• The first step is a consultation. This is simply a meeting in person or via a Zoom meeting. During this meeting, we will determine the direction which we will take for your invitations and stationery. I will provide many samples for you to look through, but I love when couples bring their own ideas and visions to the meeting. We will discuss your budget, quantity and pieces, timing, and all of the beautiful design, print, paper and finishing options. Feel free to bring along color swatches and any other inspiration pieces you wish to incorporate.

 

Booking

• Within 2 days of your consultation you will receive a quote based on our our conversations. Quotes are valid for 7 days. Once you approve your quote, a 50% non refundable deposit is required. With your deposit, your invitation timeline will be scheduled and the design process begins.

Proofs

• You will receive a proofs through your portal. Two sets of proofs are included in your design fee. Additional proofs are $20 each. If you choose to change the design from the initial concept, re-design work is charged by the hour.

 

Production

• Nothing goes to print until I receive your signed proofing agreement form. Your balance is due when you send your signed proofing agreement. 

• Printing and production typically takes around 4-5 weeks depending on the complexity of your project. The timeline of completion is determined largely by the amount of finishing work that needs to be completed after the printing is done.

• Rush orders can absolutely be accommodated - we will discuss your timeline during our consultation.

 

Addressing Your Invitation Envelopes

• Guest addresses can be printed through Stone Hill Paperie or handwritten by a professional callligrapher. I work with several calligraphers. I will select the appropriate calligrapher for the style of your invitations. Please note: calligraphy adds in an additional two to three weeks.

• If you are addressing envelopes yourself, please factor in the time it will take for you to do this. I will make sure you have extra envelopes for practice and/or errors.

 

Delivery

• You have a few choices upon completion of your order:

  • Pick up your invitations in the studio. I will go through how to stuff and seal your envelopes with you.

  • Have your invitations shipped to you via UPS. 

  • Stuff, Seal, Stamp & Send Service - Stone Hill Paperie will take care of sending your invitations at an additional fee plus postage. The balance on your order will be due prior to mailing.
