About the studio

Meet Amy

Amy Hammond has been drawing, designing, and obsessing over fine paper since before it was a career plan. What started in a high school art room eventually led to formal training in graphic design, a detour through hotel and restaurant management (which, it turns out, taught her everything about anticipating what people need before they ask), and finally, in 2010, the founding of Stone Hill Paperie.

Fifteen-plus years later, she's still the only person at the drawing table - which means when you work with Stone Hill Paperie, you're working with Amy. She'll remember the story behind your venue, notice when a typeface doesn't quite match the mood you described, and hand-render an illustration of your grandmother's garden if that's what the suite calls for. That level of attention isn't a feature of the process. It is the process.

Her aesthetic has been shaped by a lifelong attentiveness to the world - art museums, botanical gardens, architectural details that most people walk past without looking up. (She's been known to stop mid-conversation to announce that something would make an incredible envelope liner.) The kind of beauty that doesn't announce itself. That sensibility shows up in every suite she designs.

Amy works closely with wedding planners and creative teams, treating every collaboration as a chance to make the whole event feel more cohesive. From save-the-dates through day-of details, she manages design, print production, assembly, and mailing -- so nothing falls through the cracks and nothing feels like an afterthought.

Most days, you'll find her in the studio with pups, Otis and Cruisr, close by, making something worth keeping.

Stone Hill Paperie is a boutique wedding stationery studio outside Philadelphia, where every custom invitation suite, detail piece, and hand-rendered illustration is designed with intention, artistry, and a genuine desire to get it right.

Founded in 2010, the studio has spent more than fifteen years helping couples translate who they are into something their guests can hold. That means studying the way light falls in a particular venue, the texture of a fabric swatch, the story behind a family heirloom, or an inside joke that only the two of you would understand. It means caring about the weight of the paper as much as the words printed on it.

Wedding stationery, at its best, is the first impression of a celebration. The work here is designed to honor that.
